Christopher Nolan: 'Interstellar' More Akin to '2001: A Space Odyssey Than Batman movies

Christopher Nolan: 'Interstellar' More Akin to '2001: A Space Odyssey' Than Batman movies

Christopher Nolan's new movie, Interstellar (2014), is said to branch out from the Dark Knight series (2008-2012). The Dark Knight series was a very dark story blend. I think that, since it was so successful in the box office generating over one billion dollars in revenue, that Nolan should use the same concept in Interstellar. Interstellar is about a journey through space to find a habitable planet for earth. If they use the dark, gritty concept from the Dark Knight (2008) it could provide for an excellent story. Imagine the hardships of traveling light years away from Earth on an adventure you may not survive. It makes for a good idea.
Christopher Nolan is a wonderful director for many movies with a dark tone such as Memento (2000) and Reservoir Dogs (1996). All of his movies have been box office successes, so he must be doing something right. I trust that Nolan will do a good job with the movie Interstellar either way. I really enjoyed the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), and feel Interstellar will be amazing.
